The economic and social crisis that our country is going through is part of the more general one that pervades the entire planet. La destra si divide
Negli ultimi tempi abbiamo assistito al manifestarsi, nello stesso schieramento politico del PdL, di contraddizioni che sono venute via via delineando un vero e proprio scontro politico tra una destra che sostanzialmente si riconosce nelle regole e nei principi della Costituzione e quella berlusconiana e leghista che, invece, persegue di fatto un mutamento del regime democratico.
Oggi, dunque, il problema che si prospetta con sempre maggiore evidenza nella realtà politica italiana, non è il contrasto dialettico tra destra e sinistra, come molti esponenti politici affermano, bensì, innanzitutto, un insanabile dissidio fra chi aggredisce l’identità democratica del nostro Paese, realizzata attraverso il dettato costituzionale, e chi tale identità tende a rispettare e a salvaguardare. Tale situazione rende sempre più necessaria un’intesa fra tutte le forze democratiche al fine di superare e rimuovere la china verso la quale l’Italia sta andando. Questa è la priorità assoluta alla quale deve ispirarsi – mediante concrete prese di posizione, scelte politiche e battaglie sociali e culturali - la parte più consapevole del popolo e soprattutto le giovani generazioni, nell’interesse dell’intera nostra comunità.

La scuola, in tutti i suoi gradi, da quella per l’infanzia all’Università, è ormai ridotta ad una sorta di “fabbrica” del precariato. Penalizzati sono nel contempo insegnanti e studenti. Da un’istruzione di qualità deriva il futuro economico e civile del Paese.
L’ANPI ribadisce la necessità di un insegnamento più strutturato e rigoroso della storia dell’Antifascismo e della Resistenza, fondativi della Carta Costituzionale. Il consolidamento della democrazia passa anche dalla formazione di cittadini consapevoli della propria storia, in particolare quindi di quella che ha prodotto la democrazia, con dispendio di sacrifici e sangue, e con un investimento adeguato di idee, progetti e responsabilità.

Per le strutture organizzative e gli organi dirigenti si confermano le proposte approvate dalla Conferenza Nazionale di Organizzazione di Chianciano Terme (2009) e successivamente adottate dal Comitato Nazionale:

R ISORSE FINANZIARIE
Per evitare il rischio di paralisi nella vita associativa e nell’iniziativa, vi deve essere riflessione e impegno per il reperimento delle necessarie risorse finanziarie essendo purtroppo a rischio, tra l’altro, lo stesso esiguo contributo dello Stato, peraltro gravemente ipotecato anche dagli aumenti dei costi postali relativi alla spedizione della nostra pubblicazione e all’ attività associativa notevolmente aumentata. In questo senso,
attenzione e impegno sono richiesti per:
il lancio ed il successo della Sottoscrizione Nazionale per il 15° Congresso Nazionale;

Risulta decisivo estendere all'Europa – in collaborazione con l'Antifascismo europeo e con il coinvolgimento e il sostegno dell’Unione Europea – il contrasto al revisionismo e la strategia della memoria della Resistenza quale presupposto e fondamento della stessa Unione Europea. L'Europa è un nostro orizzonte. Dobbiamo contrastare le derive nazionalistiche e la ricomparsa di forze neonaziste, razziste e xenofobe. Un forte impegno culturale e politico, in collaborazione con gli istituti storici, va riservato affinché le ANPI del Mezzogiorno, nell’ambito della strategia della memoria, avviino una incisiva iniziativa sull’Antifascismo che precedette la Resistenza in quei territori.
In questo senso è opportuno e doveroso promuovere una grande campagna in tutto il Paese, e in particolare nel Mezzogiorno, per valorizzare e ricordare: eccidi, battaglie, proteste, movimenti, associazioni, uomini e donne che ne furono protagonisti.
L’ANPI, custode della vicenda storica attraverso la quale l’Italia è riuscita a passare dal totalitarismo alla democrazia, è in campo – come coscienza critica del Paese – per ridare ai cittadini fiducia e speranza, per la difesa e la piena attuazione della Costituzione, contro la corruzione diffusa, per il diritto ad un lavoro Decent, racism and xenophobia in order to safeguard the unity of Italy, for a school no longer "works of insecurity." The ANPI is able to engage positively to these objectives because of its "new era" in which the Association was able to grow and be present in all the 110 Italian provinces. With the National Congress of Turin in March 2011, ANPI will confirm and deepen commitments and perspectives through the necessary upgrades and enhancements of its organizational structures, in particular with the inclusion in the governing bodies of anti-fascists who, for age reasons, not participated in the Resistance e che sono entrati - e continuano ad entrare – numerosi nell’Associazione grazie alla modifica statutaria apportata col Congresso Nazionale del 2006.
